Regular visitors to Pollensa and it’s charming port are very aware of the best places to stay in the area and around the top of most people’s list will be a light and airy property on the pine walk. A delightful pedestrianised promenade that hugs the shore with the beautiful beach on one side, liberally dotted with mature pine trees for shade and colour. On the other side are what once were fisherman’s cottages and boat stores, most of which have been converted into holiday apartments that are perfect for family holidays, all front line beach and with wonderful sea views and across the bay. 

There’s easy access to the beach, it’s just over the prom, and it shelves gently into warm and clear waters where children can play and enjoy the sunshine. With the trees for shade, a few handily placed restaurants for lunch as well as a fun pirate ship themed playground it could be your perfect holiday location too.

Accommodation

Pilar Apartment occupies the second and third floors of a beachfront building right on the Pine Walk, clean and comfortable, modest accommodation, you’ll choose this for the location and the four bedrooms to accommodate your family. Great views and very good value in this top notch location. 

Second floor

Master double bedroom with built-in robes, air con and en suite shower room; doors to a sizeable rear patio, utility area off. Double bedroom with built-in robes, air con and a window with views over the sea. Twin bedroom with built-in robe and air con. Family bathroom with over-bath shower and glass screen.

Compact yet well-equipped kitchen with a hatch to the dining area, comfortable lounge and the “piece de resistance”, doors onto the comfortably furnished terrace with terrific views.

Third floor

Small studio, always let together with the apartment downstairs. It has a double bedroom with built-in robe, air con and window over the sea, screen wall to the living area and bathroom with over-bath shower. There’s a sofa and kitchenette, TV, cooker and fridge so it’s pretty much self contained so will suit independent members of a larger family or party, who want their own space. From the lounge, patio doors open to a very sizeable terrace, also furnished for outdoor living with amazing views.

Access to the beach is from the lane at the rear of the property and there’s a very handy bar at the rear which also does a range of bar snacks, lots more choice along the prom and back lanes heading toward the marina
