The Villa and Location 

A stunning coast house set into the cliff above the pretty town of Carvoeiro, one of four luxuriously converted village houses in a wonderful location with amazing views over the ocean. With great attention to detail and beautiful design, a unique holiday home has been lovingly created, sleek and modern yet comfortable and tangible with a beach house ambience that’s relaxing and inviting. You’re within easy reach of the centre of Carvoeiro and all its charming restaurants and bars yet even closer is access to the almost secret Paraiso Beach and the Mar d’Fora restaurant and bar.

Accommodation

Located just up the road from the centre of Carvoeiro towards Monte Carvoeiro along Rua da Paraiso and very close to Paraiso Beach, from the private parking spot there are steps down to the entrance. The living room is a bright and welcoming space, it has an ultramodern, sleek white kitchen with only the sink and ceramic hob on the peninsula and the built-in ovens on display, everything else is concealed within its glossy white-fronted cabinetry. 

The rest of the living space is decorated and furnished in charmingly distressed, elegant beach house style; there’s a generous dining table, sitting area with two sofas and a writing bureau all with views of the sea. Open the sliding glass doors to a large terrace, furnished for outdoor dining, relaxing and marvelling at the stunning view, watching the boats making their way along the coast.

From the living room, there’s a wide staircase to the lower floor and the three bedrooms. The master has a king-size bed with twin mattresses, high quality en suite shower room and double doors to the enclosed sun terrace that wraps around the house at this level. There’s also a twin bedroom and another king-size with twin mattresses, both these rooms have doors to the sun terrace and there’s a family shower room. 

On the terrace there’s an enticing hammock, several sun recliners, a dining area with barbecue and a large outdoor shower area. Although there’s no swimming pool, guests can use the large communal pool and facilities in Monte Carvoeiro about 300m up the road and wrist bands are provided for access.

Within a few meters is your local restaurant and bar and the access steps down to the stunning Paraiso beach, which is missed by the vast majority of tourists and tends to be quiet with plenty of space on the golden sands.

As well as the extensive choice of restaurants in Monte Carvoeiro, it’s only a short walk (albeit a bit steep) into the centre of Carvoeiro and a whole other world of choice in this charming family-oriented resort. The fantastic Pestana golf courses are close by, as well as the tennis centre and it’s just a short drive into Ferragudo facing Portimao, where most of the water sports are available.
