The Villa and Location

If you had to describe a perfect holiday cottage by the sea you would probably and inadvertently describe Casa Gemeos, the wonderful Benagil Beach House. A whitewashed dream of a cottage, simple yet very tasteful on the inside whilst on the outside… stunning views over the soaring cliffs, the golden sands just below and the blue ocean lapping at the shore. It’s all before you from the wide welcoming terraces. Just a flight of steps from the beach still used by local fishermen, amongst the activities is a boat trip to see the sea caves along this stunning coastline - highly recommended.

Originally two cottages but now let as one property, it has spacious rooms, is very well equipped and beautifully maintained. The nearest restaurant is just a few paces away with several others within walking distance and the centre of Carvoeiro with its wide choice of shops, restaurants and excellent supermarkets is less than 10 minutes by car. Great location, amazing views, steps from the beach, spacious and welcoming, quiet and relaxing - what are you waiting for!

Accommodation

Casa Gemeos has two bedrooms, one with double bed and air conditioning, the other can be made up as a twin or a super king size, two shower rooms and a mezzanine level that's used to store beach paraphanalia. Extra beds for children can be added in one of the living rooms and there's a double sofa bed in the main lounge but ideally Gemeos best for one or two couples.

Well equipped main kitchen with hob, microwave and dishwasher, there's a breakfast table but I don’t see that being used very often as you’ll gravitate to the terraces and those views. Wonderfully attractive lounge with some very pretty furniture and doors out to the terrace. There’s a second kitchenette with a small hob and microwave which means that two couples could holiday together and both enjoy their privacy.

The only drawback is parking by the property, which is no longer possible. There is parking up in Benagil village and this can be reached via a footpath and steps, alternatively there's another car park on the next headland next to the Pescador restaurant. The terrace has a low bounding wall edged with planters, please be careful with children who may be tempted to climb.
