The Villa and Location

One of the original villas in the popular community of Dunas Douradas and recently completely updated. The community is named after the golden sand dunes and wide sandy beaches, which are within easy walking distance, so you can easily forget about the car. At its heart, Dunas has an impressive Romanesque pool with pool-side snack bar and licensed restaurant - Xenia. There's a handy shop that sells fresh bread daily and several tennis courts where coaching is available if you’d like some help with your game. Down by the beach are several restaurants where you can dine with sand between your toes, Maria’s is the closest and one of the most popular with other choices in both directions along the sandy shore. Close by is Vale do Lobo, walk up the hill to the tennis academy where Ken Hom has a Chinese restaurant; many people also walk along the beach to the Praça in Vale do Lobo for more restaurants, bars and evening entertainment.

The villa is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, it’s an ideal family villa with spacious rooms, air conditioning throughout, TV with lots of UK channels and a large pool set in secluded grounds, something for everyone! If you're walking to the beach, take the footpath that runs behind the villa and save yourself 10 minutes.

Accommodation

On the upper floor is the master suite, it has a super king-size bed, TV, dressing area and a large en suite bathroom with a sunken bath, shower stall and twin sinks. From the bedroom, patio doors open to a private balcony, steps lead down from there to a secluded raised terrace and another flight of steps lead down to the garden and pool without having to go indoors.

On the ground floor is are three spacious bedrooms that can be made up as either a twin or spacious king-size bed. The first has built-in robes, a window over the grounds and bathroom across the hall. In the bedroom wing is a twin bedroom with a built-in vanity and a further twin bedroom, both have built-in robes and en suite bathroom.

The split-level living area has an attractive kitchen with ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher and the utility room has a washing machine, drier and a spare drinks fridge! Over the granite worktop is the glazed dining alcove then down a couple of steps to the large, comfortably-furnished lounge with a wood burning stove to keep you cosy during spring and late autumn evenings, cable TV and wifi for entertainment.

Patio doors to the well secluded pool and terrace, there’s lots of room for sunbathing beside the pool and gardens with lawn. In a shaded spot by the villa is a dining terrace with built-in barbecue where you can relax whilst food sizzles on the grill and enjoy leisurely meals in the balmy air.

Private swimming pool, 9m x 5m, 1m to 2m deep with integral steps, can be heated for a supplementary charge of £320 a week.
