The Villa
Built in the vernacular style of this community, yet the interpretation is very modern and stylish in my opinion, contemporary and minimalist, tranquil and spacious but I feel it’ll be one of those villas that you either love or loathe.
There are no tiles, the floor is polished concrete that feels so smooth to bare feet, all the surfaces in the bathrooms and even the sinks are crafted in polished concrete with glass screens to contain the water. The elegance of simplicity is evident everywhere, from the robes and blinds in the bedrooms to the cabinetry in the kitchen, unadorned simplicity. Even the air conditioning has been integrated into the building so the usual wall-mounted boxes are eliminated and replaced with elegant vents supplying cooled air. The wow is supplied by the art, the beautiful furnishings, quirky lamps with Faraday bulbs and the views through walls of glass to the garden, the pool and the sky.
The villa is air conditioned throughout, all bedrooms are en suite, all the glass, windows and patio doors have electric blinds with an addeda blackout blind in all of the bedrooms
Accommodation
The master suite is on the first floor, with king-size bed facing the huge window that opens to the private terrace, en suite bathroom with twin wash basins, toilet in a glass cubicle and walk-in shower that also opens to the inset roof terrace, complete with a comfortable, double sunbed.
On the lower floor is a guest suite with double bed and en suite shower room and three twin bedrooms, each has en suite shower room and doors to the garden.
Down a couple of steps into the stunning living space, from the sleek kitchen, the rustic dining area and the lounge you’re drawn to the perfectly presented and framed view of the pool and gardens in perfect alignment. But enjoy the interior too, the kitchen is wonderful and has all you could wish for, the dining space leads naturally to the outdoor dining space and the lounge is so comfortable and welcoming, filled with art and beautiful things, the polished floor covered with a simple rug and vintage lounging cushions. Perfect!
Open the sliding doors to a shaded sitting area beneath a pergola with two cushioned, wooden benches, the terrace of polished concrete a seamless extension from the living space. The large swimming pool has integral steps for easy access, then relax on one of the reclining loungers. Occupying one of the highest spots in the community, there are views outside the perfectly manicured confines of the villa although surrounding hedges increase your privacy.
