The Villa and Location

One of the original villas in the popular community of Dunas Douradas and completely transformed during a reccent remodel into a stylish, contemporary holidy home. The community is named after the golden sand dunes and wide sandy beaches within easy walking distance, so you can easily forget about the car during your stay here. At its heart, Dunas has an impressive Romanesque pool with pool-side snack bar and licensed restaurant - Xenia. There's a handy shop that sells fresh bread daily and several tennis courts where coaching is available if you’d like some help with your game.

Down by the beach are several restaurants where you can dine with sand between your toes, Maria’s is the closest and one of the most popular with other choices in both directions. Close by is Vale do Lobo, walk up the hill to the tennis academy where Ken Hom has a Chinese restaurant; many people also walk along the beach to the Praça in Vale do Lobo for more restaurants, bars and evening entertainment.

A fabulous modern holiday villa in contemporary style with a large and secluded private garden with private swimming pool, it's also just seconds from the communal facilities in Dunas.

Upper floor

Master suite with king-size bed, built-in robes, doors to a Juliet balcony with views over the community; ensuite shower room with large walk-in shower and twin ramp basins, I love these. Door from the landing to a raised private terrace complete with two loungers and delightful views. 

Lower floor

Bedroom with a king-size bed and twin bedroom; they both have air-conditioning, built-in robes and a window with views over the pool. 

Compact but well-equipped kitchen with black granite worktops and all the stuff you need for your style of holiday catering including a handy serving hatch to the dining area. Cool grey living room with dining table for six and doors out to the dining terrace, complete with a gas grill; comfy L-shaped sofa, TV, DVD and music player for entertainment and a wood burner to keep you cosy in those cooler nights during spring and late autumn.

Door out to a shaded landing with steps down to the pool terrace which looks very modern and has six loungers. On the far side of the pool is the raised dining terrace reached by a ramp from the pool with outdoor gas grill and dining table under a huge umbrella, also accessed from the living and dining room.

Around the pool terrace is lush garden with lots of hedges ensuring your privacy and some private areas of lawn where you might relax with a book.

Private swimming pool, 9m x 6m, 0.9 to 1.9m deep, steps in the shallow end, can be heated for a supplementary charge.
